Ivanov Đorđe was born in 1954. in Strumica, where he finished elementary school. He finished military high school in Belgrade, and went on to study as a supersonic aviation pilot in Zadar, Pula, Titograd and Batajnica.
He dedicated a large number of his paintings to aviation – his main occupation and profession. His paintings show a specific time period in our aviation, and this is what makes them priceless, as they are painted by the hand of a pilot who participated in all of the events of our long-standing tradition in aviation and its glorious history.
In the field of iconography he has a specific style of expression and he belongs to a line of exceptional and rare artists with a sense for details, which makes him a stellar icon-writer.
He has received a large number of accolades for his work over the years.
